Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail: The perfect combination ofluxury and craftsmanship

Designed by the luxury car brand’s Coachbuild department, the Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail was introduced as a model with only two seats, inspired by American roadsters and yachts of the 1920s.

Due to low production numbers, Rolls-Royce uses a different design than the standard models. Customized to the customer’s taste and lifestyle, the Arcadia Droptail is a magnificent example of luxury and craftsmanship. Here’s all you need to know about the new luxury vehicle…

Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail: Features, price, and release date

Let’s start with the design of the vehicle. The wood veneer has been carefully selected to color-coordinate with the rest of the interior. Every Coachbuild car is designed like a yacht; the vehicle stands where it is, and the components come to it. Arcadia used 233 pieces of wood in the Droptail, 76 of which were applied to the aerodynamically functional rear section. Designed to protect it from the rain, heat, and humidity of tropical climates, the wood is coated with a special lacquer.

Dashboard and clock

The dashboard features what is claimed to be the most complex watch dial Rolls-Royce has ever created. The dial, which took a long time to assemble, has a geometric “guilloché” pattern with 119 faces.

Center armrest and electronic

Under the center armrest is a wooden pedestal that can be electronically moved forward and backward. The pedestal reveals or conceals the car’s infotainment controls.

Rear and exterior

The bespoke white paint is infused with aluminum and glass particles, giving it depth and an effervescent shimmer. The rear of the Riva Aquarama day boat inspires the rear. The car also features a removable roof panel.
