The Bafta 2023 Awards ceremony was an emotional rollercoaster that lasted two hours and featured heartwarming wins, endearing speeches, heartfelt tributes, musical interludes, and a surprising surprise at the end. The British Academy Film Awards for this year are covered in detail below.
When were the Bafta 2023 Awards?
The 2023 BAFTAs took place on February 19th.
Where did the Bafta 2023 take place?
The BAFTAs have been held at the Royal Albert Hall for the past six years. Still, in 2023 the star-studded event found a new location at the Royal Festival Hall in the Southbank Centre, which, according to the organization, allowed the 76th edition of the event to be the “most ambitious and accessible night yet.”
How were the Bafta 2023 Awards?
With a unique structure that switched between two hosts, it stood apart from past BAFTA awards shows. Richard E. Grant, an Oscar and BAFTA nominee, presented the main presentation, and Alison Hammond interviewed the winners and presenters in the BAFTA Backstage Studio.
